A small family run business, GCH
was created out of a passion for cycling, Greece and good food.
Like all the best ideas GCH was conceived over several beers one night in 2015 on the family holiday at our villa. Having survived the hangover, work started in earnest late 2015 and we hosted our first guests in March 2016.
Meet the Frost Family
Steve has lived in Greece for over 15 years, moving from the UK after meeting his Greek wife in London. He moved to Athens to raise a family is now fully immersed in the Greek way of life.
Having worked as a chef for over 20 years in some of the top hotels in London and Athens, he has won various culinary awards over his career. The food he likes to cook is heavily influenced by his Mediterranean experiences, with an Italian heritage and obviously from living in Greece.
Steve is your main man when it comes to your GCH holiday. He will be there to meet you at the airport, cook some delicious food for you, plan your rides and make sure you have everything you need to make your holiday one of the best. He may even join you on a ride or two!
The better looking of the 2 brothers, Pete lives and works in Middlesbrough in the UK. With a day job as a Sales manager in the chemical industry, Pete spends his spare time cycling round the north york moors, camping with his family and snowboarding! Mainly seen at GCH taking advantage of the great routes on offer and helping out with marketing, updating the website 😉 answering queries and representing GCH at various shows and festivals around the UK.
Head of the family, Richard is ultimately to thank for the creation of GCH; he purchased the villa as a summer house to be near the grandkids back in 2006. Now retired after a long and distinguished HR career with British Coal and latterly in precious metals industry, Rich spends his days swimming, walking and drinking “coffee” at the local wine bar. You will see Richard helping Steve out on occasion at the villa and on the GCH stand at festivals and shows. Be warned though Rich can talk for hours about Eretria and Evia!
The latest addition to the GCH family Naomi, the friendly rescue dog.
When you contact us here at Greek Cycle Holidays you will receive the personal touch from one of us and being as small as we are we can be completely flexible in tailoring your holiday to meet your needs. We will work hard to go the extra mile for you!
I had a massage and have done lots of walking and sightseeing in the local area and reading my books. It has been more than just a cycle holiday.Louisa Gallimore, Ladies Week July 2018
